4 x Winner of the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Dual Championship
The competition combines the best five Championship dog show results
with the best five Siberian Husky Club of GB rally results

Zef, Ch Eekonoo's Zefram Cochrane has won the SHCGB's Dual Championship for the third time, the first and still the only dog to have won the award three times.

Ozzy, Ch Rigrunner Alesis Andromeda by Eekonoo won the award after coming so close the previous year losing out to Zef by just 1 point.

We went back to the SHCGB Aviemore event after an 8 year break and won the 4 dog class with the fastest run time on the Saturday from 199 teams. Dave was lucky to hang on to the lead after it all went wrong during Sunday's run, find out more here.

Our previous highest award at Aviemore had been to win the highest placed home bred team with Eekonoo's Ragnarak, Rimsky, Odo and K'Ehleyr
The first one was the 6 dog Championship with 5 wins out of 5 races, running only 5 dogs.

Next was a family double with Dave winning the 3 dog championship

Kelly won the 2 dog championship in her first season in the adult class after previously winning the junior championship.

Then came Dave winning the 4 dog championship in the seven race series

Ch Eekonoo's Zefram Cochrane won under Jenny Littlejohn
Jenny's critique:
I very much like this dog, good foxy head, well shaped almond eyes
obliquely set, nice shaped well set ears, good angulation front &
rear, slightly sloping pasterns, good neat feet, tail well set on
croup. Good ground covering movement also that keen alert expression
a dog so obviously enjoying his day - really made him stand out from
the crowd for me on the day. A joy to judge.

Ch Rigrunner Alesis Andromeda by Eekonoo won under Lisa Tebay

Greenland:
Judge for dogs was Lisa Tebay and she must have been very
pleased with her entry. Her dog CC came from limit, in the form of
Dave & Jill Hemmins Rigrunner Alesis Andromeda by Eekonoo. (Ozzy)
was turned out to perfection, and looked a picture, handled so well
as usual, by Dave. This handsome piebald was runner up top dog last
year ( SHCGB points) and already has one other CC to his credit. He
is sired by the top show winning and dual purpose champion (and
SHCGB Show BIS winning). Ch Eekonoo's Zefram Cochrane (Rajarani
Kayakin of Khodies x Skilivolk Nabushka at Eekonoo) and his dam is
Ch Rigrunner See Emily Play (Tupilak's Salty x Cheechako's
Charadyeyka.) His pedigree contains some very well known dogs,
including Top Dog 85, 86, 87 in Ch Zoox Gazheek, Top Bitch 93 in
Sibirskaya Kwiksylva of Rajarani. Less well known in the ring, but
no less influential in the breed today by virtue of their working
aptitude are such dogs as Zero's Brew at Tupilak and Zero's Flutter
at Tupilak. Jenny Littlejohn's well known and top producing brace in
Charvak's Two Sioux Mato of Skiivolk and Charvak's Icelia of
Skiivolk come in through Skiivolk Nabushka. And - stop and take a
breath - it doesn't end here, as he also has in his pedigree one of
the best dogs I have had the pleasure to see, namely the pure white
Alpirod winner, Dutch Ch Zoltan of Chenok through Amarok's Francois
at Rajarani. With such breeding behind him, and the added bonus of
having Dave as an owner and handler, Ozzy must have a great future
ahead of him.

Zef has twice won the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Top Stud Dog award and also Top Siberian Husky Sire in the Our Dogs Competition. He has produced 4 Champions and is very proud of all his progenies wins, details of which can be found here.
